Hi today I am going to talk about our school cross-country race?

last week my school had a race in Walter park ...

 And the year 1 and 2 had to run 500 m .
And the year 3 and 4 had to run 1 km and a half .
And the year 5 and 6 had to run 2 km .
And the year 7 and 8 had to run 3 km . ...

And the race's  started then  the year 1&2  started racing they ran the 500 m race then after that race the year 3&4 race started and they ran their 1 km race then after.
 The year 5&6 raced" their 2 km .
Then the year 8 raced and they did very good after that
year 7 raced and I was in that race and the teacher said GO and we ran one of my friends was in the first place and I was at second place we ran the 3 km and I came second  place I was so happy about the race after that I went home and said to my mum and she was so happy of it .
And the kids that got a place in the race  had  to go to a Canterbury final race then it is finished
and I hope I come 1st or 2nd or 3rd place
